                                   One day, you receive an email from a game designer containing a mysterious letter and a detective game demo. Driven by curiosity, you open the game and  start playtesting.

However, it seems the development team has encountered a bizarre challenge—the game designer has been killed... in the game.

Can you uncover the truth? Who killed him, and why? Or is there more than a demo ?

In this version, the final stage is broken due to Instagram accounts being banned by the system. We are working to fix it as soon as possible.

This is the project from Term Three of the LCC MA Games Design programme. What you're seeing is a demo of our concept.

Based on the feedback, here are some aspects we plan to refine in the future:

  • Revise the puzzle in Stage 2: In the fingerprint puzzle, players will interact with the item after obtaining the clue from the safe.
  • Clarify the storyline in Stage 2: Ensure players gradually receive information that leads to the plot twist.
  • Enhance interactions in Stage 3: For example, players will be able to make choices and achieve different endings by linking various accounts on Instagram.
  • Polish the art assets: Enhance the visual design to create a more cohesive gameplay experience.
